Local Agent daemon

Local Agent daemon, pmlocald, runs programs when instructed to do so by the appropriate Master daemon. When the Local daemon receives an instruction, it checks its configuration file to determine the Master daemons from which it is allowed to accept requests. If the request is deemed to be legitimate, it then runs the application program as root. All output from the program is sent back to the user’s terminal.
